Close call at work today. I was unloading a semi-truck full of plants and trees by hand. There were two brackets holding the next line of plants in place. Since everything else had been well loaded and stable, I proceeded to remove the top bracket, then the bottom and as I was bent over, a wall of plants collapsed around me.
My coworker shouted "watch out!" and the truck rumbled.
However, nothing touched me because there happened to be two thin boards in the entire truck, connected into a cross which lodged between the floor and wall, which protected me.
My coworker said, "wow, that was lucky." I said "no, it wasn't luck it was this" and I held up the cross and said "He has saved me many times and I needed to be reminded." I said "let's take a break" and went to grab my phone to get a picture but some other workers kept unloading and removed the cross. So, I found that cross and set it up against the oldest oak tree on the property... to remind us that He who died on that cross/tree for our sins does protect us more than we know.
I only wish I could have posted the picture.
