I'm posting this article as a reminder that first of all, not all evangelists, pastors, etc. are corrupt, but there is an issue of accountability that must be addressed, as well as exposing heresy. Tithing/giving is God's idea, not to be exploited by the few, but to be embraced by all. Besides, God owns everything anyway. I'm not attacking the man, but I'm sharing this to show the hypocrisy that lies in the "house" of many "mainstream" ministries today. Don't let people like this keep you from investing in God's plan for supporting the church, or ministries that are openly accountable and transparent. Pray for this man as well as those like him, who have allowed finances (IMO) to become his "god". Thanks!
