Pic today at the end of the morning clean out flight. It was a week yesterday and plenty of pollen going in. Time to move them to a permanent hive I guess. Suggestions? Comments?

How does everyone feel about Automatically requeening Every Swarm that is captured?
Personally, I think it's a Huge Missed opportunity for some good local traits. I'm all for requeening Aggressive hives, but not Nonaggressive ones. I think it should be dealt with on a case by case basis... Especially since we all know a queen can mate with several drones... each drone contributing it's own genetics. Each batch of brood could be completely different from another so, one Batch of aggressive brood doesn't mean the next will be. Leave a Hot hive a lone and in 2 weeks it could change... No?
What does every one else thing?

WOOHOO! Got a Swarm Today! I set up 4 traps and they moved into the smallest (a little 5 frame nuc) this afternoon. I checked it this morning and saw nothing, but this afternoon, they were already flying in and out! So psyched!
I'll post pics later in the week. Don't want to bother them.

Well, March 18th and I expected at least ONE swarm in my traps by now. Nothing though. Hearing about swarms all around the Tampa Bay Area though. Fingers crossed I get at least one soon.
