Any advice on how to deal with a narcissistic family member who's b.f. just broke up with her that morning, who went off on your kid (19 yrs old who was trying to console her little emotional support animal from barking because of the commotion), for so called "looked at her wrong"? We all told that family member to knock it off, it's all in your head , she didn't give any look.(the family member has done this same dance several times before ) but the family member repeated it a dozen times building up the so called lie so it could become the truth or reason for the next attack.
..then while we were packing things up the family member said, oh I like this stool,I'm going to keep it and take it to work,knowing full well that it was mine. And All my kid said was, you can't take that stool, it belongs to my mom. And my family member started calling her a fxxckn. B word , that this was her mother's house how dare you speak to me like that and other hurtful words not associated with the stool remark. She then proceeded to call my ex husband on speed dial when my daughter couldn't take no more and stood up, tossed the tape on the floor and said to the BULLY and called her a narcissistic Bitch. And the family member said with crocodile tears...oh my you're trying to hurt that baby, you threw razor blades at the baby 🍼! That was all her dad heard And her dad said he was disappointed in her and that she was disrespectful to her elders. And he wouldn't listen to how the family member had started the ordeal in the first place. He sided with the family member and disowned his own daughter. So now everyone believes my daughter threw razors blades at a baby and cussed out her aunt and looked at her sideways, it's now known through the whole family and so called friends. My daughter is a quiet refined girl who always keeps to herself.
She has never had any type of outburst like that in her life! I'm so Proud of her for standing up to narcissist Bully. *** Narcissist push push and push your buttons until you break and then they call YOU, the crazy one. My daughter knew the signs, it was a scary ordeal. She is still shaking from the fear of the situation.
OMG I can't take this much more! I can't post on Facebook because my family members s.i.l. are attacking me online because he now believes the lie as a truth and my daughter is alienated.
***I'm dealing with a death of a parent, homelessness, people going through my stuff and taking it, being walked all over, and moving out of my mom's house. I took care of my mom for the last 18 months. I'm caretaker of the property until it sells and have to go through all her belongings and get them out of here in 6 weeks and we're down to the last two weeks.
Now she has the executors blinded and she wants me and my daughter out of our home so she and her daughter can go through the stuff. I've given her 89% of everything and she still wants more whatever I want she wants. Now I have to get along and play nice and be fair ? It's not fair! She was the one who caused and no one can see that. I cannot wait to leave here and never ever see her again. Why post here you ask? Because,this is a safe platform for me to vent. Thank you for reading it. Any words of encouragement for my daughter would be so helpful. Thank you.
