So the very beginning of this video stuck out to me. Hubby just told me a story:
He was at Sam's Club. Like I said last post he is full of energy and I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not nor am I sure if his story is or not. Have the guts to do what is right? So my husband was in line to check out and he left his cart, stepped away to get some boxes. He comes back and this huge, bigger than him, black Nigerian guy budged in front of him. Hubby spoke up, but not only spoke up and took his spot back. He got into a bit of a confrontation with him. The guy said something to him like he was wrong to want his spot back, like the black guy was doing MY HUBBY a favor by going to another register and it set my hubby off. He said something to him, like he wasn't doing him a favor, he was there first and told him to not go home and tell a story of how some white guy budged in front you. He told him this has nothing to do with color. Ed told me he's just so sick of this BLM shit and let the guy have it. There was more said and I don't have the whole story here but swearing was involved. So ya, a little worried about my hubby. He's in the mood of not taking shit from anyone anymore and that's a good thing, but still worried. He's been very confrontational lately. Was that the right thing to do? I told him he was right to get his spot back but he didn't have to go that far with it. Did he go too far or is it time to? Is it time for white people to stop being pushed around by black people who think they're entitled to do what ever they want, while we stay SILENT and take it up the ass? Understand this is not racism, this is about equality. White people are not less than black people and black people are not less than white people. They are trying to brainwash us into thinking we did something wrong and we need to bow down. Hubby probably would have been worse if it was a white guy budging in front of him if he said the same thing to him. DON'T BUDGE IN FRONT OF MY HUBBY! He's in a mood these days. It's called: I'M TIRED OF THIS SHIT AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!
