Be Careful! This spirit creeps in the church! Deliverance is needed!
This Memorial Day is one that will be filled with Joy and Laughter! For me this marks the beginning of summer and remembering the details of this last year. I’m excited to see the opening of the community pools, gatherings with friends and family with out feeling persecuted. For others, it means a long weekend which for many has been a long time coming, as our nation heals from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) which has kept families apart for over a year.
I want to remember the fear I had that gripped me, this terrible invisible airborne disease that plagued many Americans and abroad. I want to remember how social media was the only connection to the outside world. I want to remember all the opinions of non science related individuals sounding so intelligent and how they know what’s best for me and my family than I do. How being told don’t touch your face or you can spread this super intelligent disease. I want to remember how smart this was to bypass me standing six feet apart wearing a thin tissue or cotton around my face. I want to remember the new phrase “Karen” that came out of this epidemic. I want to remember how everyone and I mean everyone adjust their masks on their face when trying to talk. I want to remember how awkward it was to wear in public for the first time or seeing my loved once with them on. I want to remember how awkward it will be to remove and see people’s smiles once again.
So today I bury my mask, I am throwing a mask burning celebration and inviting all my friends and family the Memorial Day weekend and remembering once again what it’s like to have fun together and laugh together and share personal space and say it’s okay! I’m not afraid! I am going to enjoy LIFE by not participating in things that make me feel dead. For so long we have worn masks and hidden in the graveyards, I’m coming out of my grave clothes and stepping into the now! I am okay if I’m called a racist, Bigot, Brainwashed, Trumper, Crazy, Conspiracy Theorist, Hate driver, Fear driver, Homophobe, Transphobe and more! I have a new name from my Heavenly Father that is my future.
I will mourn and pray for the hike in our gas prices, loss of wages, government spending, jobs lost, and food prices sky rocketing.
The unfortunate event that is taking place at the Capitol is inhuman however, to have the Acting Chief of Police Yogananda reference the January 6th as if this is the same situation is an indication that somehow this will be blamed on Trump, right wings, white Supremacy or Qanon.
