A Memorial Day toast...
Today we raise a glass to toast to our heroes’ past
Courageous and brave, they stood firm in their task.
They fought for our freedom, they fought for our rights
Never forget their great sacrifice!
Remember and honor them, not just this day
but also in action, what you do, what you say.
Future generations must remember this
Freedom’s not free, ignorance is not bliss.
We must each keep freedom alive
so we may honor all those who died.
