Closeup of O. dillenii pad found growing (prostrate) in Tampa area. Low growing plant. Only rises 1 pad.
No longer sure what this one is called. It's an Opuntia found growing in Florida, Near Orlando (and probably many other places in Florida). I believe
it was called Opuntia polycarpa at one time... but after Lucas Major did DNA tests, that changed. But to what, I'm not sure.
Some kind of MONSTER Opuntia growing in Florida... a Hybrid of some kind? O. dillenii x ? lindheimeri Perhaps?
Opuntia repens - Very "sticky" Opuntia. Barbed spines cling and joints break free very easy... like an Opuntia.
