Ever feel like things or people have been cut out of your life? Maybe desires or activities that you once enjoyed no longer bring satisfaction?
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:2 NKJV
Though we may not be able to see it or understand why certain things are removed from our lives, we can rest assured that it is according to God's plan. As the Lord prunes the useless things from our lives, He is making way for fruitful growth, growth to ready us for His Kingdom to come. So next time something or someone is removed from your life, praise God for the work He is doing in your life.

In this increasingly evil world where "normalization" of right is wrong and wrong is right, it can be difficult to navigate. But with the right guide to "light" our path, we can successfully traverse this darkened society.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12 KJV
If we cultivate a relationship with Jesus through prayer and study of His Word, follow His example and commands, we will not only be able to see truth through the darkness and confusion, but will also be equipped to shed the light of Truth to those around us.

Whenever studying any topic, or forming an opinion or belief, whether it is secular, political or theological, it is important to build upon a correct premise or foundation. If built upon a false premise or a flawed foundation the entire opinion or belief is therefore false or flawed and our actions and decisions are likely to be flawed as well.
The Bible says,
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.
Proverbs 9:10 NLT
Let's be sure that we make our foundations sure by building upon truth, and there is no greater truth than that of God.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
1 John 3:18 KJV
In other words, talk is cheap...SHOW with your actions.
If you didn't TELL people...would they KNOW that you are a Christian? How often have we seen professed Christians ACT in an manner that is not christlike? How often have you acted in such a way?
Jesus said "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Matthew 7:20 KJV
This applies to us as Christians as well.
Our words are important, but our actions(fruits)are MORE important.
Let's us be cognizant of what message our actions(fruits) are conveying. Happy Sabbath family!
