in a few weeks it will be 20 years since the horrors of September 11, 2001. . . and here we are with the Taliban back in power in Afghanistan with all of our buildings, our military vehicles, our weaponry, and thousands of stranded Americans there and in grave danger. This is an offensive slap in the face to 9/11 victims and families; veterans who have returned from Afghanistan dead, missing limbs, and tramautized; and all Americans as we watch this avoidable humiliation unfold. Unbelievable.
