I am over 60. Reclusive, kinda. Conservative, yes. Tolerant, mostly. Love the line from the TV show Shark, dealing with an aging character played by Burt Reynolds “In the end, all we have are our stories”. Depending on my memory on any particular day, I have a bunch. 1968-1972-- Navy, ships, sea, Philippines, Japan, girls, sex, alcohol. USS NEW JERSEY BB62, USS RICHMOND K TURNER DLG20, USS LONG BEACH CGN9. 70”s……………..yeah, mostly the same. 80's I discovered the Blues, then The Rolling Stones. Got married (and divorced) a couple times between 80 and 95. 96 moved to Alaska. 2000-2014—Working in the oilfields supplying food and shelter to the rig workers. Pruhdoe Bay, Kaktovik, Nuiquisit, North Slope, Colorado, East and West Texas, North Dakota. Moved my residence from Anchorage, Alaska to Morada, California. It's all about the music.....The Blues! UPDATE 2017- MOVING OUT OF ALASKA WAS THE ABSOLUTE, BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!!
I am a firm believer in the United States Constitution. IMHO, it is NOT a living breathing document. The folks that drafted it, knew WTF they were doing. Our biggest enemy, IS the United States Government!
