1) It starts with FOOD FOOD FOOD. Refrain from all MainStream processed food. Shop on the edges of the grocery store. Fresh produce and perishables. Eat healthier and LOVE your beautiful body temple. Your neurotransmitters and cognition will thank you.
2) Grow your own food if and when you can. Even having a little basil plant on your porch helps. The very consciousness of growing just one tiny consumable on your own makes a dent.
3) Shop local. Avoid the convenience of bigger box stores and patronize your little neighborhood spots.
4) Barter what you can.
5) Refrain from giving "them" your IMPLICIT CON$ENT to continue: Cease giving $ for non-essentials - especially ENTERTAINMENT. The best things in life are free anyways: nature, writing, singing, games, drawing, hugs, good chats with friends, and more.
No one is perfect and can adhere to all the things that will make the BIG change. But we can all start with tiny little changes.
