I have a good friend who I cruised around with in his Volkswagon on snow and ice long ago. He mentioned that he loved when people's routines are screwed up by crappy weather. He was coming from the idea that people aren't in control and cannot be complacent when it concerns acts of God. They get frustrated. I agree with him. One must deal with the weather no matter what. If that means having to call in, so be it. The coronavirus is on a much larger scale, but what can we do besides take proper precautions and deal with it the best we can. I can barely call it an act of God, but stuff happens. This pandemic has stopped people in their tracks, showing us to not take our lives for granted. Most of us are being troopers through all of this and showing human kindness in ways never expected. How can we expect something like this? We can't. Love your brethren and pay attention in the future. The world dealt with WWI and II, and came together in the wake of loss, sorrow, and forced distancing from family. Be good to one another from now on.
