In celebration of Independence day coming up in America here is a poem I wrote a few years back.
FREEDOM
F loating across an azure sky are the
R inging tones of a bugle’s cry.
E ach note
E choes an oft told story of bravery, sacrifice and Godly glory. Its clarion
Call reminds us for what our soldiers
D ied filling
O ur hearts to bursting with fervent love and pride. The bugle’s
M usic will continue to sing if we remember the cost that freedom brings.
