I've been thinking about the recently captured footage of the hand-off.
Is there any protection on these machines that protect against something like...
[autorun] open=Biden2020.exe
They run on normal windows machines correct?
Would that not execute when the drive is plugged in on a normal windows-based pc by default?
And that got me thinking some more...
Remember the USB Drives Stolen from the Pennsylvania election warehouse.
Perhaps USB drives were stolen in other states also and we just don't know about it...yet?
- Steal the keys before the election
- Upload them with something like above (script) set the attributes as hidden just in case.
- Swap the real keys with the hacked keys (maybe preloaded with votes somehow)
Why else would you be palming USB keys looking shady af?
