Hillary Clinton, then US Secretary of State, was kept informed of the situation in Libya in 2011 and 2012 by Sidney Blumenthal aka "Sid" in emails. He is the former assistant and senior advisor to President Bill Clinton. He was in Libya for commercial interests. The information in these emails comes from a former senior CIA official. Sidney only relayed them.
