Thought I’d share this as it’s very close to my heart right now, especially with what’s going on in our world.
I saw something similar on another social platform.
How many times have you said about bad people or those who’ve done wrong by you, ‘karma!’ Or ‘they’ll get theirs?’
How often do we say ‘I want justice to come for those who do evil things?’
I think it’s human, especially when the acts are so heinous and unspeakable. But when we say those things, are we really forgiving our enemies as God intended? We shouldn’t want wrath on them. We should want them to seek God and ask His mercy because He said vengeance is His. Not ours.
This is a super hard pill to swallow. 🥺❤️🙏🏻
