There are times in all of our lives when we feel weak; it could be we are weak in our physical flesh, such as a sickness or disease, but the one I'm speaking about is the weakness we feel within our spirit, not God's Holy Spirit, for He is always strong, but our spirit, which is made stronger when we connect with His Spirit. "Stronger is He which is in me, then He which is of this world."
In the Bible, when men would go through a hard time in their lives, and God delivered them, they would build an alter; I believe, in my opinion, it was done in order to remind them of what God had done for them and brought them through.
I think, as children of God, we need to build an alter within our mind so that when we are overcome with fear, anxiety, depression or anger, we can go back to the altar in or mind and remember what God had done for us; He is the same God today as He was then; what He did for us then, He can do for us now, if we allow Him to.
If you remember, after they had fed the 5,000 + with loaves of break and fish from a young boys lunch, they gathered the leftovers and placed it within baskets and took it with them; they had that very same baskets with them when they were crossing the sea and a storm began to blow, and they became afraid. All they would have had to do was look at the baskets and remember what Jesus had done for them, that very same day.
No matter what you go through today; go back and remember what God has done for you and where He has brought you from. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.
God bless You and yours.
