The level one trauma center/ ER that I have been a registered nurse in for 20 years is now “ offering “ the stab to patients ( make no mistake I will NEVER ADMINISTER IT . ) Yesterday I overheard one of the physician assistants telling a patient “well I know you are undecided but I want to make you understand that the DELTA VARIANT is targeting unvaccinated people so you may want to make a decision on the vaccine .” Hmm I lost my shit , called the nursing manager and flipped out I said “ this is what we are doing to our patients fear mongering them into a vaccine “ he explained that we have been instructed to offer it however this behavior of fear mongering was not acceptable , he called the medical director , shortly thereafter the medical director showed up and shut that behavior down . PLEASE KNOW NOT ALL NURSES WERE DANCING , making stupid videos , someof us have been fighting like hell , and will continue to do so .
