greatness of prayer
We observe in all moments of the soul, whether in rest or in activity, the conditioned reflex (or action independent of the will immediately following an external excitation) in the
base of the operations of the mind, aiming at this or that genre
of service. Hence the imposition of surveillance on our own guidance, since only the straight conduct supports the straight thought and, in possession of right thought, prayer, whatever that our degree of intellectual culture is the highest induction touch so that we'll soon be on a regimen of communion with the Superior Spheres.
Of divine essence, prayer will always be the positively sublime reflection of the Spirit, in any position, for forcing him to dismiss from himself the purest elements he can have.
In recognition or petition, in diligence or in ecstasy, in joy or in pain, in tranquility or in affliction, here it is externalizing the consciousness that formulates it, in indescribable effusions, on which the ripples of Heaven correct the tortured magnetism of the creature, insulated in the educational suffering of the Earth, restoring its deep faculties.
A mind centered on prayer can be compared to a stellar flower, open before the Infinite, absorbing its nourishing dew of life and light. Allied to the hygiene of the spirit, prayer represents the switch of mental currents, throwing them to sublimation.
