SEEKING THE PEARL
The Pearl is a symbol I have used in my paintings not to be confused with the moon. We see in Job 28:18 That the acquisition of wisdom is above that of pearls. But then Matthew speaks of a great Pearl as the Kingdom of heaven to be sought after.
Matthew 13:45-46 KJV
[45] Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: [46] Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
But what is God’s perspective?
Job 28:23-28 KJV
[23] God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof. [24] For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven; [25] To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure. [26] When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder: [27] Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out. [28] And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
