One thing I noticed in both the sheep and the cattle. No carion birds or insects. They would be all over those mass butchers. The only time I don't see buzzards or insects bother a dead body is when it's died of a bad disease like anthrax or rabies or the animal has died from being poisoned. I raise livestock.
