If you plan to use Prettify for SVG optimization, you must first ensure that your vector graphics are properly exported from Illustrator. If you do not, you may break your SVG files. The Export Options window will let you know whether your code is exportable or not. SVGs are often more complex than their PNG counterparts. For example, complex SVGs contain lots of, gradients, masks, and shapes. Because of this, SVGs can often outweigh their PNG and JPEG equivalents in file size.
