Well it's good to know that should one day the stores run dry, you can still survive by eating rancid fly infested maggoty meat, after all, there'll always be road kill somewhere to scrape of the roads.
Don't think I'll be trying it anytime soon myself though.
In fact no plans ever.
Apparently lots of people do this as a way to get high, and it's become quite a trend, hence it being termed as eating 'high meat.'
