A little background for subscribers not in the USA: We have the 14th amendment which says in part, a person who was in sedition against the USA cannot hold government office. In Colorado, the legislature said Trump cannot be on the 2024 president ballot for this reason. The court in Colorado agreed. They also say that people cannot write in the name of Trump. The problem is that Trump has not been convicted of sedition and the 8th amendment of US Constitution says you cannot be punished for crimes without a trial. This will go to the US supreme court and I'm positive it will be over turned.

The hypocrisy of this is that the media and the left use a phrase "threat to our democracy". Isn't democracy the voice of the people? Is Colorado allowing the people to vote for who the people want? NO! So who exactly is the greater threat to democracy?

This seems to happen in many areas now.... the intelligent leaders simply remove choices from the citizens. You cannot vote for this person (but you can choose from two others which we control). You cannot take ivermectin but you can choose from 3 different mrna vaccines. hmmm.... democracy is dead we just don't know it yet.

"A threat to our democracy". With Colorado not allowing Turmp on the ballot and now Maine not allowing him, that's 14 electoral votes he can't get to get to 270. Do they want a civil war? Do they want several states to secede again?
