As of 2021 Colorectal cancer death moved from 4th to leading cause in men under 50, & 2nd for women. Young adult oral & liver cancer deaths were increasing, & deadly cervical tumors in women ages 30-44.
Across all ages, cancer deaths rose 2% from 2019-23. In 15-44yo, mortality doubled to 4%. Why is this happening now?
Colorectal cancer death rose 17% among 15-44yo, 4x population-wide increase. Uterine cancer deaths rose 37% among 25-44yo, 15% overall.
U.S. Society of Actuaries posted 76% & 101% increases in death claims among 25-34 & 35-44yo.
COVID was ruled out.
