This plaque rests in an unassuming spot in Normandy France. If you didn’t know to look for it, you probably wouldn’t see it. But, one day a friend and I went looking. It’s where YOUNG American men from the 101st Airborne and the 4th Infantry met, after they came ashore on Utah Beach on D-Day. They would form a “band of brothers” to co on toward Carentan, France in order to liberate that town from Nazi Germany. Many of them who met on this spot didn’t live through the Battle of Carentan, but they knew the cause was just. They’re my example. My inspiration to try... to recognize greatness... to live by #[9]. I will remember them.
