I have a confession. I think I voted for Jimmy Carter. I think I was influenced by my new wife as well as the whole Nixon/Ford fiasco. Regardless, the point is, living through the Carter Presidency just reinforced everything I believe in! If you lived then as an adult, you remember!!
Update: So, I reread this and it is ambiguous. Truth: Carter's years sucked so bad, living them confirmed his ideas sucked. They didn't work. Gas prices soared. He couldn't get our hostages home??
