The sad truth is our national debt can never be repaid.
At $36 trillion it would take generations of extreme austerity.
That's not going to happen.
I have no idea what the answer is.
Except maybe declaring bankruptcy and reorganizing.
I don't even think that would be legal.
And it would certainly crash the world economy.
