๐บ๐ธElon Musk has become the first person whose fortune has reached $400 billion, Bloomberg reports.
The latest catalyst, the agency writes, was an insider sale of shares in his private company SpaceX, which, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, saw Musk's net worth skyrocket by about $50 billion to $439.2 billion.
Musk's fortune has changed dramatically since late 2022, when at one point his net worth fell by more than $200 billion. But it has risen particularly sharply recently, following Donald Trump's election victory, the agency notes.
