I feel safe enough here to share something personal. I love my kid SO much! This is her 'Sophomore Night' at her junior college. She's getting some kind of college athlete award in May... I hope to make the ceremony. Katie must move onto a 4-year college to continue playing softball (and study psychology). She has officially been accepted by both, Marymount and San Diego Christian. She she wants San Diego... if we can find a way to get her there. Financially, this looks impossible, so please pray... hard. This beautiful, talented, intelligent and sweet young lady is a stellar student, award-winning athlete and artist many times over... all, while battling autism. We both survived domestic violence which decimated us financially. She is courageous, and still standing (way better than her mom). She is the champion of the lonely and the underdog, and thinks ill of no one. I love my kid so much. Please, please pray for miracle.
