I remember when my kids were young (all moved out now) and hubs would help them prepare breakfast in bed for me on Mother's Day. It was soooo sweet. But then I'd be eating breakfast alone in my bedroom. Course, that was before cell phones and iPads. I'd just be sitting there in bed (uncomfortable) while my hubs and kids were eating breakfast together at the table. I should have enjoyed it. I enjoyed being blessed by my family, though. Good memories.
