4-5-19 (Released 4/2) DALLAS AREA HOME HEALTH CARE EMPLOYEE SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS; $3.7 MILLION HEALTH CARE FRAUD SCHEME
Collin County Texas man, Paul Emordi, 52, Dallas County. Also got 2 years supervised release, restitution payment ordered for $3,559,154.22. Six-day trial also involved:
Celestine "Tony" Okwilagwe, 50, Dallas County,
Adetutu Etti, 60, Dallas County,
Loveth Isidaehomen, 49, Dallas County,
also convicted of one county conspiracy to commit health care fraud.
Okwilagwe and Etti also convicted of two counts of false statements re health care benefit program.
Okwilagwe and Emordi Owned and operated Elder Care, Medicare and Medicaid provider, Garland, TX, both had previously been excluded from participating in any federal health care benefit program. Etti concealed Okwilagwe's ownershi and his and Emordi's exclusions, signed false documents.
Isidaehomen, Okwilagwe's wife, signed bank docs and wrote paychecks to conceal both her husband and Emordi.
