It’s not about supply and demand. Large companies own all the rentals, they then work together using software to skyrocket the rents for entire cities
A word of caution:
If you or anyone you know lives in a small town, please be advised that with the federal funding being cut to the sanctuary cities and many blue cities in general, the woke ones are moving out into the small towns. Word on the street and in the wires is that Marfa, Texas, is one such town; it has been engulfed with the woke and the property values have inflated to the point to where long time residents, some who are third generation, cannot keep their houses because of property taxes going sky high and they are having to leave. Sad.
