First and most importantly, let us take the time to thank God for all of His goodness in our lives; the children we have, the home we live in, the food on our table, but most of all, for the Salvation we have by and through Jesus Christ, whom God sent into the world to redeem it and those who are in it.
Thank you God for your wonderful Grace and Mercy; it knows no bound. Father, we trust in you tonight, that no matter what we are going through, You are there with us. No matter what we go through, You are with us; standing in the fire, walking through the raging floods, you are there. Let our lives be a beacon of hope for those who believe they have strayed too far for your hands to reach; let our testimonies reach those who are lost and in need of only the love you can give. In Jesus' name, Amen.

DAY ONE STUDY
"Creation is a hot topic. In fact, the validity of everything recorded in Genesis 1-11 is a hot topic, though not a new topic. The concept of some type of naturalistic explanation for the origin of the earth, universe, and its inhabitants has been around since the ancient Greeks. But it did not affect mainstream life until a couple of scientists promoted their ideas through books in the 1800's—Charles Lyell (who proposed that the earth was much older than what the Bible said it was) and Charles Darwin (who is known for pushing biological evolution as an alternative to creation)." Let's read Gen 1:1
1:1 In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

What does Genesis 1:1 tell you about God and the reality (or truth) of the world around us? This scripture tells us how there is a Beginning, to all things; if there is a beginning of all things, then there has to be an ending of all things. A lot of people tend to believe the world will go on forever, there will be no end; this is not the case.

Take a book for instance or a movie; a book does not go on forever, nor does a movie; it has a beginning, a middle, and an end, right? Our beginning is tied to the Creation of the Earth and everything in it; our middle is the time we now spend on this earth and our end will be found in death or when Christ returns, however, even then our souls will go on for all eternity; whether it is in Heaven or Hell. This first verse also tells how God has always been around; He has no beginning nor will He have an end, for He is eternal and will continue to be so.

Let's look at Psalms 90:2
Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Does this truth totally blow your mind; it did me when I was young. It was hard for me to understand how there was a being, so powerful, that He Himself had no creator, He just was. Psalm 100 tells us this.

1  Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
2  Serve the Lord with gladness:
Come before his presence with singing.
3  Know ye that the Lord he is God:
It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves;
We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.
4  Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
And into his courts with praise:
Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5  For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting;
And his truth endureth to all generations.
