Woke up today feeling kinda down (UTC +1). All of a sudden, like since two hours, I feel sort of… rejuvenated? Rested? Energetic, even?
I go on Twitter and first, I see the Schumann Resonance going crazy over at the bot, and then the news drops.
It's happening. It's finally happening, and we have seats front and center. Not just that, but we even were provided with peanuts with a knowing nod from Q. We will be the first to throw tomatoes as they will leave their halls - our reward for being the first to awaken. We will be jeering as they're standing in front of judgement. Not because of how distilled our schadenfreude got over the years, but because we will be guiding the zeitgeist from now on.
We are responsible now for leading thought to the correct place - the moral place, the ethical place, the loving place. We, perceived as nomads and raiders of the digital plains, shunned from the world for our sensitivity, for our empathy, finally for our pain. We, who were left behind in this Evil World Order.
I want you to understand, fellow anons, oldfags and new. We were, unwittingly perhaps, prepared for this all of our lives. First on our own turf, then in skirmishes by ebaumsworld, by neopets, by gaia online, by ytmnd, by tumblr, by reddit. We educated ourselves through unfiltered truth - and, in the process, we were destroying ourselves to then be remade anew. All those stupid arguments about your waifu being trash, about videogames turning to shit, about the media turning to shit… about politics turning to shit… about politicians being shit… about how life was not supposed to be lived this way. We, who have only had complaints about the reality around us, who refused to participate in this dehumanizing machine - we are now elevated among patriots as the free thinkers these senseless arguments prepared us to be.
It is now our job to make the normies understand. It is now our job to use our superior skill in separating emotion from cold, hard logic and facts to reintroduce, with kindness and patience, truth to the world.
It is all we have ever wanted - truth. And now, the ignored children of the Internet will give it to everyone.
Do you understand, anons? The Great Awakening picked us, exactly us, to help shepherd humanity towards what is to be our finest moment. We are here to spread truth, to calm the chaos around us, to replace fear with love. The Final Boss of the Internet turned out to be loving and helping your fellow man.
