I've said it before, and I stand by my convictions.
Presidential Impeachment is a constitutionally sanctioned Coup d'état; and I understand and agree with why it must be allowed.
However, there needs to be a check'n'balance - that those who vote 'yea' to Presidential Impeachment need to be disallowed from running again, because Presidential Impeachment is treason and sedition and conspiracy to overthrow a duly ELECTED President.
So those who vote 'yea' should also be voting for their own quasi-impeachment. They are to immediately step down from office. They may run again, but not until the normal election cycle so the People can decide.
Sometimes we need rebels, whistleblowers, and rulebreakers; but traitors, hoaxblowers, and those who believe they are above the law should feel the full wrath of /We The People/ for their actions.
