In CA, there is a bill about to be voted on, SB793, which will put a ban on flavored tobacco products. The bill was designed to keep tobacco companies from enticing young people into using their products. When there was a nationwide problem with kids becoming seriously ill from vaping, it was found the flavored tobacco they used was the one causing lung damage. It passed the Senate and it is now on the way to the Assembly.
So, of course, the left wing liberal morons have decided this is racist. How is it racist, you ask? Well, on the commercial I watched tonight with a retired black LAPD officer, she explained that 85% of black smokers prefer menthol cigarettes. By taking away the menthol flavoring, this bill is “racist” and will give police officers another reason to harass black people.
Yes, this is actually on a commercial. Considering the rate of obesity, Diabetes and Hypertension in the black community, you would think she would be happy if we could stop black people from smoking.
