What if this time was to be spent recharging ourselves? Reconnecting with our Father. Taking inventory of our homes, our career, our funds, our family, our health and our lives. Q is silent, for now. Does anyone believe he and the team were not ready for this? For me, that is impossible to believe. All day I’ve thought, what would I be doing right now I were them? If in a few short months an election year would begin. If chaos was on the horizon. If I was preparing for the fight of my life. I know I would want to make sure I was ready. For whatever is about to happen. That everything I thought I might need was prepared and accessible. I would want to feed my soul with good. Overdose on hope and joy. Take a few days and shut off the news. Stop reading every post & comment. NOT REPLY TO STUPIDITY. Declining every invite! I would boycott worry. Take a break from social media. A break from the posts, blogs and tweets. How about a nap? Play with the kids, read a book, have a really good meal, listen to some music you love, watch a comedy, do something special for someone for no reason at all. Make it to church. Pray. Read the Bible. Put a favorite gospel song on a loop or have a sermon play in the background of the day. Skips rocks, go fishing, catch a game or sit on the porch swing. I PROMISE! We feel terrible sometimes because we allow it. We even look for it. Sadly, some of us are addicted to it. Replace revenge, frustration, hate and anger with laughter, kindness, encouragement and love. Let’s change our minds! Some Sunday encouragement!!! Honestly, Q was a great general. Built an army and led us to the truth. He taught us to question, decipher, seek, find, uncover, investigate, research and not to believe just anything. It only worked because he made us work for it.
