Yes, Biden may no longer be Biden at all, and his inauguration a farce. Maybe it's the military that's now leading. Maybe there will be an American republic in two, five, 10 months or years. Perhaps those responsible for all this mess have already been or are being arrested. Maybe many of the horrifically suffering children have been rescued from the criminals. Maybe Trump was/is actually on the side of good. Maybe my beloved homeland of Germany, which I have only known as a state simulation, and had to leave due to the increasingly unbearable conditions, will eventually be free again.
The fact is, as of yesterday, my confidence is shot. That was simply too much. I am infinitely sad and tired of it all.
