Thee sickest amongst us are having the time of their lives.
While we are safe in our homes and watching from a distance, while we keep saying, “how awful”, “oh my gosh” and “this is insane”!
With each new day as we read the more unbelievable. We see the lawlessness, the destruction & carnage. Leaders who are leaving cities with little or no protection. Quite literally doing the opposite of what makes any sense. Lifting curfews and roadblocks? Not backing the blue who are on the front lines? The world is watching.
All of us asking when will it end?
We all know something else is coming. We are in the crescendo & a final act is coming soon enough.
There has to be “The End”.
The evil in this world, the soldiers of darkness. The possessed, the poisoned, the controlled and yes, the demonic feel no remorse, no threat, they are emboldened & fearless. They feel powerful and in control. They plot, they purge, they plan, they gloat and they loot.
Are we ready?
Are you really ready?
With the same energy?
The same commitment?
Full of The Holy Spirit?
Full of The Word of God?
Are you sure or doubting?
Are you saying a faith filled prayer & walking away afraid?
Have you confessed your sinful thoughts and deeds & received Christ in your heart?
Is He really your Savior?
Do you know without a doubt that you are covered in The Blood of Jesus?
That victory absolutely, without a shred of doubt, belongs to God Almighty and He that is in you?
Remember this my sisters & brothers, we reign in high places with Jesus. Above all principalities.
The devil is a liar!
It is our calling to pray. Our right. Our duty. Our inheritance.
We pray for deliverance, comfort, safety, health, forgiveness, favor, provision and guidance.
God is The Deliverer!
Do you every feel the need to pray as a weapon? To be covered? To defy the evil one? To rebuke him in Jesus name? To protect your family?
To wage war against the enemies in this world. To push back the attack on your life, home, heart, family, friends, career, faith, livelihood, dreams and sanity.
Do you ever feel super natural faith? That you could absolutely destroy evil with The Word of God if it stood before you! That You could call legions of angels to a hospital room, to a bed holding a loved one. That they could be cured. The lost can be forgiven by saying The Word of God.
Don’t you know The Power to raise the dead, to call The Majesties of God, to part a sea, to stop the flames from touching you, to be barren and give birth to, to face a wall and your cry to the Lord Our God can cause an earthquake?
Faith of a mustard seed is cause for a mountain to move.
That is in you. It is in me. We are not left helpless. Defenseless. Alone. Lost. Weak. In darkness. Unprotected.
Without serious ammunition!!!!
All that we need.
Like our ancestors prayed. Like your mom or dad did. Like your grandma did..... Like that preacher did when you were young. Like you have witnessed some one full with The Holy Spirit faith. When you sat in the presence of someone praying and had goose bumps from head to toe!!!

I don’t know why, just cause....
When daddy was pretty close to dying at hospice we had several moments alone. I inquired about his comfort level. He shared his anticipation of going home.
We said everything we needed to say in our living. I kept very little from him. Some might say he was honest with me to a fault. Peas & carrots we were. Like a bee to honey, I wanted to be by & with my daddy. At 2, 11, 19, 25 & 32.
I ran to his side.
After some quiet my dad said he had something to say to me. I sat near his bed, my hand in his.
He recited a few days & events involving me. Things he missed that he shouldn’t have. But that I struggled to even recall.
He worked so hard, so much, so long and in some crazy conditions.
After two or three memories I tried to quiet him & let him know that I understood, of course I understood.... he was not having it.
He finished the list and said “I am so sorry”.
Looked me in the eye and said it.
Oh my heart then and right now.
I started this post with I don’t know why & I mean that.
It’s as if I had to write this post. For one or many of you to read. I couldn’t shake this memory yesterday & now, this morning. I want to tell you that whatever you are doing to survive these days. This pandemic. This Twilight Zone. It’s enough.
Whatever you cook for meals, it’s perfect. Whatever you can clean, fix, make, repair and arrange, it’s absolutely awesome. If you are teaching a child, it’s great, you’ve got this. If you are working from home, everyone knows it. You have kids, a dog, a husband, a wife and a life. Gift yourself a break.
Whatever you are worried about, I’m praying for you right now.
Kids need to feel loved. Taught love. They need rock solid faith. In you. In a higher power. They need to feel safe. They need fed. They need you to shut the game off and sit nose to nose with them, no phones. They need discipline. They need guidance, manners and someone they can count on. A few life lessons here & there and they are all set.
What’s on my heart? What I need for you to know. What I just had to post, was this.
My daddy did everything for me. ALL THAT HE COULD.
He was my hero, my teacher, my preacher, my discipline and my friend. It was so very sweet for him to say what he did with only moments left on this earth. But, that was an apology I never needed. I didn’t ask for, think of or mention. Ever. I remember only how he loved me.
While it touched my heart for him to say he was sorry it also broke it a tiny bit.
He carried that with him for years. He had to.
Please let this daddy’s girl save you from all that you whisper to yourself, about yourself being a good mom or dad during these unfamiliar times.
YOU ARE ENOUGH!
YOU ARE.
