Backyard breeder puppy mills who survive on the backs of exploited animals (many stolen) have taken over the website and there is a desperate need for monitoring. Craigslist DOES NOT PERMIT the selling of animals, yet thousands of posts are permitted daily nationwide that promote and proliferate breeding and exploitation.
