Today is my birthday. It's the first one without my mother on this earth with me. 😪 It feels weird, it feels wrong, and it feels lonely without her.
She passed away on January 2nd, not diagnosed with Covid but she had been in the hospital for unrelated issues and we believe she got it at the hospital and unknowingly brought it home to us. 7 of us got seriously sick from Covid right after she left us, one of us landed in the hospital but is better and home now. The after effects of Covid have not been fun.
Brain fog, fatigue, the constant smell of smoke in my nose, (it's gross), and now severe hair loss. 😔
The stress and grieving has been hard on us all especially my dad, their 63rd wedding anniversary would be this month.
I miss my mom so very much and I guess I just want to say to anyone reading this to go hug your loved ones tight and tell them how much you love them and if today is your birthday too I wish you a very happy birthday.
