Fear is the most common weapon the enemy uses to keep us from going forward with the things of God. He fills our heads with thoughts like these: "what will other people think? It's impossible. I can't do it!" If we give into these fearful thoughts and believe them, then the enemy wins. Your role in pushing back the darkness has been made just that much less effective. In some cases, embracing fear actually will even cause us to advance the enemy's agenda instead of God's. Refuse to let fear control you. Move forward in spite of the fear. Trust God. The battle is His anyway. Let God fight the fear for you while you continue to follow Him. What you do in the face of fear determines your destiny. ⠀

God placed powerful blessing on your life as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. No curse of the enemy can overcome it. We see this is true even in the Old Testament. Balaam was hired to curse Israel, but couldn't do it even though he tried three times. Balaam saw that the only way the blessing of God on HIs people could be negated was to draw them away from God through unbelief via intermarriage with other nations. Unbelief is still the only way God's blessing is ineffective in your life today. No curse can overcome the blessing of God in your life. As you grow to believe that, you will experience more of that blessing God already placed on you personally. Then your life start to look like what you see on the pages of the New Testament. Will you believe God today and walk in His blessing?⠀

God did not cause the bad things that happen in your life. You absolutely must get this truth straight in your own soul. Otherwise, if you believe God caused bad stuff and suffering in your life, then that belief has a massive adverse effect on your relationship with God. It is impossible to have a truly intimate relationship with someone who abuses you. We look with pity on a woman who refuses to leave a man who routinely abuses her and claims the abuse is for her own good. At the same time a great many Christians think that's exactly how we should view God. They claim God sends bad stuff into people's lives to teach them stuff for their own good. But that's not who God is. Yes, God works all things together for our good because we are His children. But God does not send the bad stuff. Instead, there is an enemy actively trying to steal from, kill, and destroy us. There are also over 7 billion people on this planet who often do stupid things. And that's not to mention our own foolish decisions that we make ourselves. There are plenty of avenues that aren't God for bad things to enter your life. God is the master at taking the lemons life sends our way and turning them into sweet lemonade. But God does not hand out those lemons. When you get a revelation of how good God really is, it will transform your relationship with Him for all eternity.⠀
