there are no coincidences he says as he hands me a tulip guitar pick he found in an empty, freshly cleaned basement. we had just received a guitar loaned from his parents. just a day ago he said all we need is a pick. tulips are everywhere here. before i came here i had a tulip picture in my phone. the same tulip right down to the colour was gifted to me when i visited in the summer.
this is only just one moment.
