What if, a type of invisible nanotech device, eg smart dust (MEMS), was used to impregnate the ballots thus identify each and everyone, even those that go missing?
Could these not be used to recognise which state and/ or city the ballots were in prior to the voting machine being used to certify proper ballot registration, or not?
What about these having heat sensors that send a signal to a receiver before these are destroyed by fire or other means?
